How To Receive Free Products From Influenster
Hello all! Today I’m back to discuss Influenster – the app that lets anyone be a social media influencer. I’m sharing my personal experience with Influenster, all my tips on how you can get one of their coveted VoxBoxes, and the secret to consistently receiving VoxBoxes from them.
What Exactly is Influenster?
Influenster is website that lets you browse and write reviews, find deals, and ask their community questions about products you’re interested in. Categories of products you can review include pets, travel, beauty, health & fitness, parenting, and more. But the main reason this app is so popular is because they run a program that sends out thousands of exclusive VoxBoxes a month full of FREE full-sized products. In exchange, you use your own network and social media influence to share your opinions.
How Can I Join Influenster?
Influenster is a completely free program to join! All you have to do is download the Influenster app and register with your email or sign up with Facebook or Instagram. You’ll then receive a link in your email that will lead you to fill out your Influenster profile.
Taylor’s Tips for Receiving for VoxBoxes
- Pick a niche – I chose beauty, so most of my reviews are on skincare, makeup, haircare, and bath and body products.
- Fill out your profile completely
- Consistently answer all of the snaps that appear in your dashboard (they send these out often)
- Leave reviews that actually meet the word count
- Make lists
- Ask and answer as many questions as possible
- Connect ALL of your social media accounts
- Participate in community galleries
I’ve included a screenshot of my dashboard so you can see how many reviews I’ve left, discussions I’ve participated in, and lists I’ve made to date. As you can see, my impact score isn’t super high so you do not have to have a huge following to receive products from Influenster! It took about a month or two of me actively using the app to finally receive a coveted VoxBox. The process starts with a pre-qualifying survey that you’ll receive in your email. Be sure to fill this out because it greatly increases your chances of getting selected for the open campaign and qualify for future ones. If you qualify for a campaign, you’ll receive a VoxBox in the mail. Once you’ve received your VoxBox you’ll have certain social media tasks you must complete to get a campaign badge, so be sure to check your campaign dashboard on the app. These tasks may include posting a photo on your Instagram, making an Instagram story and featuring the product, writing a blog post, or leaving a review on the company’s, Influenster’s, or Sephora’s website.
My VoxBox Breakdown
I have been using Influenster for roughly 5-6 months now and have received 3 VoxBoxes. You can see all of the VoxBoxes I receive on my Instagram “unboxing” highlight! I am very big on transparency, so below I am including a breakdown of the VoxBoxes I received complimentary of Influenster.

The Secret To Receiving VoxBoxes Consistently
I’ve received three VoxBoxes back-to-back-to-back and discovered that your current VoxBox campaign is your key to receiving your next VoxBox. You can continue filling out snaps and engaging with the community, but if you do not complete the assigned campaign tasks you will no longer qualify to receive VoxBoxes from Influenster. So make sure you complete all the tasks they assign you in the dashboard and as many of the bonus activities as you can!
Final Thoughts
Influenster has been such a fun experience, and so far I’ve loved the items in my boxes. It’s such a great and easy way to get full-size products for free and test new products. I will definitely continue to use it!
